		<description>

[ENG]The term MANU comes from Sanskrit: in Eastern mythology it names the first human being, the archetype of the first avatar on earth, a foundational image, a return to form.

This project emerges as an inquiry into identity through my own cosmology. A space of invocation and enchantment. An opportunity to rewrite, one by one, the letters that compose my name.

When I dance, my body slips out of phase with myself. It loses and finds itself continually. I dissolve into a constant becoming, in the search for my own absence, in the fleeting illusion of glimpsing myself, of naming myself: MANU.The distance of the name. The echo of what precedes me and, at the same time, exceeds me.

What does it mean to be human when humanness overflows?
This overflow does not point to a dystopian future, but to the very condition of our present.
Bodies crossed by memories that erupt, by languages that exceed them, by technologies that
predict them even before they act.

In “OTRA COSA QUE NO ES UNA CONFERENCIA”, the format unravels and becomes an
untamed space where words dissolve into gesture and consensus fades into its own shadow. In
this territory of transit and tremor, meaning happens between bodies — in the collision, the
escape, the incompleteness.

The human is not a substance but a relation: a practice of resistance that burns at the edges of
what can be said.

“ZERO” is that which precedes everything, or what remains when everything has ceased. An origin and a final threshold at the same time. It was the exit from my mother's body, and my entrance into this world.

My mouth is that threshold where words attempt to be born. My throat, my stomach, resonate with their ghost. Breath that burns like a fire, prior to language.

“Zero” as an attempt to capture the intangible, to outline the human desire to make a world through matter. A gesture that stumbles at the very edge of meaning, showing the impossibility of grasping that which, like liquid, slips through the fingers.

The piece is a poetic exploration where the body is a living, mutable language, a surface that folds over itself, overflowing its meanings.

The performer inhabits the space as a fragmentary archive: a body full of gaps, tensions, and desires in the process of reconfiguration. A sensitive landscape as an organism that thinks, listens, and is affected by itself. This body coexists with a constellation of speculative objects as vestiges of a non-linear time. Memories inscribed of an extinct language, or one still to come. With eternal love, I dedicate this piece to my mother, Aurora. RIP &#38;lt;3

potencialidades.

It is said that when astronauts return to Earth after witnessing it from the vastness of space, reality takes on shades of fiction. The planet ceases to be an abstract, elusive notion; as the observer grows smaller, the Earth expands, becoming overwhelmingly vast. Common words prove insufficient, and self-awareness stretches beyond its own boundaries.

It is within this expansion, this slippage from the real into the fictional, that ALIEN begins.

This work explores the limits of the human and its corporeality: a body that, like the Earth seen from afar, becomes unrecognizable—a shifting image in which we lose and rediscover ourselves endlessly. It is a place of estrangement, resistance, and transformation. Here, the body does not merely communicate; it becomes a space where identity and perception are suspended in weightlessness, opening up to new potentialities.

(Text for the program)

41°22′14″N 2°09′00″E are the coordinates of the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona, and they give title to the artistic intervention I will carry out over another intervention: Psicoarquitectura, the work by Oscar Abraham Pavón, which itself intervenes upon the pavilion. This creates a constellation of superimposed gestures—my action over Pavón’s piece, his work over Mies’ architecture, and Mies’ building over the ground it now occupies. A structure erected in 1929, dismantled a year later, and reconstructed in 1986, the pavilion has become a reenactment of its own memory.

Pavón’s piece, centered around a brick wall rising above the pavilion’s reflecting pool—its form doubled, distorted, and unsettled by the water—invites me to reconsider the innate power of the creative act and the ways materiality inflects and transforms it. I am interested in exploring the effect and resonance generated when the body collides with primordial, archetypal elements such as water, brick, or marble. My intention is to traverse the building and inhabit it from its transformative nature and its memory, confronting it with my own architectural experience, which in this case crystallizes in the figure of the wall.

Temples, museums, libraries—and even walls—are architectural forms that have represented me at different stages of my life. The wall, in particular, has been both artistic support and site of encounter. Over the years, through my proximity to graffiti practice, I have developed a singular relationship with it. I have written on walls countless times—most often my name, a name that has changed over time, becoming abstract, unsayable, nearly mute. For me, the wall has been both pull and resistance. A structure charged with potency: a load-bearing wall, a wall of lament, a wall of desire. A wall that protests, exhibits, hides, and protects. Walls that rise and fall; walls of passage and walls as border.

The creative act, like energy, is neither created nor destroyed: it only transforms. Ideas circulate; they inhabit us and reshape us. Sometimes they originate within a building, and sometimes it is through a building that they take form. Architecture can be source, container, or catalyst—but always a place of passage for what has yet to be imagined.

[ENG]Think of the museum as a body.

Installation / performance for the TEA Museum of Tenerife. Within the framework of the “By assault” Program, curated by Javier Arocena.

The indecipherable code

The building itself indicates a possible code through its particularities. A reading of the architectural epidermis can be made and the affectations of
structural settlements, materiality, time, environment, climatology and uses are considered.
This memory translates into fissures or cracks. The artist, in
a totally random way, interprets and graphs the signals that the building itself seems to indicate, giving rise to a totally open code.
It will change every
day when the artist's eye makes a new reading of the surface and perceives new marks on the skin of the building.
It is a rereading completely stripped
of conscious memory, in which the code is rewritten in each session.
The resulting grid of dots allows for an infinite number of possible combinations
and interpretations, the code transforms with each new interlocutor and their own individualized gaze.
The signs of what was there all the time but that
in reality does not exist and that takes shape in the individual will of each interlocutor are revealed. An exercise of impossible looks, towards the interior
of the body and process and even the hidden part of the action.

This would be the building's grapheme, its signature, its tag or label. Being read by others, who interpret and identify the object of contemplation.
Graffiti, or signature, or identity seal that wants to expand and make itself known beyond the individual in the face of the problem of saying "I". The sign
as signifier of multiple possible meanings.

For the writing, 80kg of sand from La Nea beach (Tenerife) was used. The natural resources of the territory are used to write the territory itself.
The
resulting flat diagram creates a series of volumes, protuberances that build a communicating space that can be traversed, danced, inhabited.
A
variable code that can also be read from above, like a geoglyph, expanding its scope. The indecipherable code only makes sense in individualized
reading, in the intimate bond that is generated from observing the body or inhabiting space.
Translating what is already present from the past and
future, which will only exist with the interpellating capacity of the plot. This manages to vary the way of looking at the territory, making the viewer
stop and, from questioning, build their possible versions.
Artistic action is capable of carrying out the political gesture of varying the paths and the
viewer's gaze. Once the actions are completed, they are diluted. The 80 kg of sand return to their place of origin.

Body as code / Body as topography.

The body-artist reads itself in the same way and translates this form of reading to the architecture/physical structure, looking for convergences and
highlighting the grooves in bone, flesh and skin. This way of observing the physical cartography results in an internal mapping of corporeal matter
that will be continuously be read, interpreted, questioned and redirected. A changing identity, which obeys the continuous rethought, through
questioning and focusing, of the performer and the spectator.

The artist of movement is a being for the gaze. It is a corporality that sets in motion the thought that looks, since the visual fact does not happen in
the eyeball and it is not a concrete act, but a thinking process. The artist's body also observes the viewer, so that the eye that looks becomes the eye
that is being looked at, transforming the bidirectional relationship between spectator and performer into seeing oneself see.But can the motionless body of a spectator enter into an effective dialogue with the active body of the performer?

The scenic action takes place in a time during which the spectator is subtracted from her daily rhythm, a deceleration occurs that moves the body of
the spectator to an immobility, a suspension. This suspended time activates the bidirectional gaze of the spectator-performer.Both take part in an act that is immediately collective, since there is not a single spectator or a single way of looking.

		<description>

[ENG]ENTERTAINMENT (2021) enters by interruption. It does not open a narrative nor announce a beginning; it simply appears, shifting a preexisting order so that something else —the show, exposure, the gaze— can take place.Onstage, three affected figures move as if pulled by opposing forces: the desire to be seen and the fatigue of visibility, the demand of the audience and the distorted echo of their own self-image.

The piece inhabits the tension between meditative stillness and the machinery of entertainment. From this friction, it sketches a portrait that is both tender and cruel, circling the notion of empathic distance —that space where bodies dissolve into fragments, like a mandala scattering into particles or a digital profile made of moments that consume themselves. When the distance is vast, the character becomes only a collection of parts; when it narrows, an encounter becomes possible with the anthropomorphic being that lives both in oneself and in the other.

The work unfolds in three movements. Mandala: a first gesture that sets up the universe of fragmentation. Fractal: its doubling, an episode in which two performers multiply and fold different versions of a shared impulse. Totem: a symbolic verticality that does not close the piece but suspends it —an imaginary space situated between the spectator’s gaze and the body that presents itself onstage.

Entertainment returns to questions that move through my practice: identity as a shifting construct, contemplation as resistance, and the liminal territories where the body ceases to be a fixed form and becomes a passage —a surface of affects, a threshold between presence and its own dissolution

		<description>

Lejos de aspirar a una fijación de sentido, Body on Paper asume la impermanencia como principio estructural: un estado de transformación continua que exige procesos constantes de reconfiguración y desplazamiento. Así, la identidad se entiende no como una entidad fija, sino como un campo dinámico, atravesado por variaciones, tensiones y adaptaciones.&#38;nbsp;

[ENG]BODY ON PAPER is a multidisciplinary project articulated through three dispositifs: a photography book, a solo performance, and an installation conceived for exhibition spaces.

The work unfolds as an inquiry into the tension between subtlety and rupture, exploring both the fragility and the resilience of the bonds we establish with ourselves and with our surroundings. Within this framework, instability and ephemerality do not appear as anomalies, but as constitutive conditions of experience.

Materiality occupies a central role in this process: paper, image, and body function as surfaces of inscription, trace, and erosion, in dialogue with other materials such as ropes, barrier tapes, and sand. Each of these elements introduces its own resistances, tensions, and degrees of malleability, configuring a field in which the physical is not a neutral support but an active agent that conditions, delimits, and transforms.

Rather than remaining passive, matter operates as a system of forces that registers time, exposes friction, and renders visible processes of decomposition and displacement. In this sense, materials do not merely sustain the work; they actively participate in the production of meaning, activating relations between containment and release, fixation and dissolution.

Resisting any stabilization of meaning, Body on Paper embraces impermanence as a structural principle: a state of continuous transformation that demands ongoing processes of reconfiguration and shift. Identity thus emerges not as a fixed entity, but as a dynamic field shaped by variation, tension, and adaptation.

The book is the first part of the project, an approach from the perspective of the cities of Tokyo and Kyoto, where all the photographs that make up the book were taken.

I took this decision with the intention of starting the project by observing from far, I wanted to contemplate the body from a distance, from a place with a different paradigm and thus be able to blur established meanings.

Certain inertias that have been in my work for a long time led me to think that this could happen in Japan, a place that I always wanted to go to and that has inspired me a lot.

The city is another source of inspiration for me and it was the stage where to carry out this first contact. The city as a collective space, as a reflection, a living being in constant change.

"The city is a discourse, and this discourse is truly a language: the city speaks to its inhabitants, we speak to our city, the city in which we find ourselves, just by inhabiting it, touring it, looking at it" (Barthes, 1993: 260&#38;nbsp;
