Se dice que cuando los astronautas vuelven a la tierra después de haberla visto desde tan lejos, lo real adquiere para ellos matices de ficción. El planeta deja de ser una noción abstracta e inasible; mientras que el observador se hace cada vez más pequeño, el planeta se hace más grande, demasiado grande. Las palabras comunes no son suficientes entonces y la consciencia de sí mismo se expande más allá de los límites.

Este proyecto, en continuo desarrollo, se dedica a explorar y especular sobre el cuerpo humano como instrumento, investigando su propósito inherente y sus posibles usos y funciones alternativas.
Dentro de este marco, surgen nuevas formas de encarnar el cuerpo en el acto comunicativo, tanto en la performance como en la vida cotidiana. Me planteo diversas preguntas sobre nuestro rol en la comunicación como seres hablantes y considero la posibilidad de una operatividad más "humana" que trascienda ciertos límites y estereotipos establecidos.
Se abre así la oportunidad de crear nuestros propios códigos de diálogo y entendimiento, donde lo sensorial, el gesto y la subjetividad se convierten en elementos esenciales para habitar y compartir el espacio-tiempo de manera auténtica.
"Alien" se desarrolla en un plano de ficción donde las formas se difuminan y los sentidos se amalgaman, reinterpretando y recreando nuestra noción de lo que puede significar ser humano, ofreciéndonos la oportunidad de ser “otra cosa”.

It is said that when astronauts return to Earth after seeing it from so far away, reality takes on shades of fiction for them. The planet ceases to be an abstract and elusive notion; while the observer becomes increasingly smaller, the planet becomes larger, too large. Common words are no longer sufficient, and self-awareness expands beyond its limits.
This project, in continuous development, is dedicated to exploring and speculating on the human body as an instrument, investigating its inherent purpose and its potential uses and alternative functions.
Within this framework, new ways of embodying the body in communicative acts emerge, both in performance and in everyday life. I pose various questions about our role in communication as speaking beings and consider the possibility of a more "human" operation that transcends certain established limits and stereotypes.
This opens up the opportunity to create our own codes of dialogue and understanding, where the sensory, gesture, and subjectivity become key elements for authentically inhabiting and sharing space-time.
"Alien" unfolds on a plane of fiction where forms blur and senses amalgamate, reinterpreting and recreating our notion of what it means to be human, offering us the opportunity to be "something else."
