R.E.M. El área de los sueños ha sido siempre ese “no-lugar” donde la dimensión real y simbólica se funden. De algún modo, durante la ensoñación, cuerpo y mente se imbrican en un bucle sin solución de continuidad. La contraposición de ambos puede representar una suerte de combate interior entre el ser tangible y el ser proyectado.
El espacio en el que desarrollar esta visión surge del vacío, carente de referentes, reducido a ente abstracto y no adquiere significación hasta la aparición del ente corpóreo, el habitante.
Será allí donde el cuerpo dinámico e impulsivo irá desplegando su narrativa onírica, su transformación, su metabolización en estados variables. Desde los más puros y elementales, a los mas sintéticos y artificiosos, donde abstracción y masa se amalgaman.
R.E.M gira en torno al vacío, a sus simbólicas recreaciones ceremoniales y a su proyección en el interior del ser.

The area of dreams has always been that "non-place" where the real and symbolic dimensions merge. Somehow, during dreaming, body and mind intertwine in a loop without solution of continuity. The contraposition of the both can represent a sort of inner combat between the tangible being and the projected being.
The space in which to develop this vision arises from the void, devoid of referents, reduced to an abstract entity and does not acquire significance until the appearance of the corporeal entity, the inhabitant.
It will be there where the dynamic and impulsive body will unfold its oneiric narrative, its transformation, its metabolization in variable states. From the purest and most elementary, to the most synthetic and artificial, where abstraction and mass amalgamate.
R.E.M. revolves around emptiness, its symbolic ceremonial recreations and its projection inside the being.
